Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Lead Security Cloud Engineer - GCP to design and run secure Google Cloud services aligned with business outcomes. You will deliver professional services, guide secure cloud strategies and automation across teams.

The role focuses on secure policies, threat reduction with SIEM tools, IAM/WIF, and compliant deployments using Terraform and GKE security, collaborating with CISOs and SecOps to meet governance requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience implementing secure policies and services on Google Cloud Platform.

Responsibilities

• Implement secure policies and services on Google Cloud Platform.
• Assess and reduce security threats using SIEM tools.
• Define security strategy with CISO and Security Engineers.
• Enforce regulatory controls and support compliance.
• Configure IAM, resource hierarchies, and WIF for secure communications.
• Deploy network security defenses and data protection measures.
• Leverage AI agents to automate security deployments.
• Establish secure landing zones and data/AI foundations.
• Drive security-focused IaC for compliant deployments.
• Operate secure containers on GKE and secure CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align tech with business goals.
