AgileEngine is seeking a Senior SDET to build and maintain scalable automation frameworks from scratch for Web and API testing and to define the automation strategy within squads. You will play a pivotal role in shifting left and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Must have 4+ years as an SDET, strong Java skills, REST Assured experience, Playwright proficiency, and upper-intermediate English. Flexible flextime with remote and office options; loyalty to delivering quality across Fortune 500

• Ability to work independently and provide technical direction on quality initiatives.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Senior SDET to build and maintain Web and API automation frameworks from scratch and define the automation strategy within the squads.

MUST HAVES

• 4+ years of experience as an SDET Engineer.
• Strong programming skills in Java (a "developer-first" approach to QA).
• Extensive experience using REST Assured for backend testing.
• Proven hands-on experience with Playwright.
• Deep understanding of the "shift-left" approach and integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to work independently and provide technical direction on quality initiatives.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

NICE TO HAVES

• Previous experience in the Loyalty or Fintech sectors.
• Experience with performance or load testing (e.g., JMeter or Gatling).
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and SQL for data validation within test scripts.
• Experience working with mocking frameworks.
