Main Function:
As an IT Business Consultant, you will be responsible for facilitating implementation and support of solutions within the SAP Finance and Controlling modules to enhance business functionality and overall performance, while ensuring a high degree of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications & skills:
SAP experience: strong knowledge of Finance and Controlling processes, SAP ECC
Good understanding of customizing in SAP FI/CO
Dependencies to other SAP modules including WM, MM, SD, BW and PP.
Knowledge of local requirements and regulations like VAT, TAX (Vertex), ACH Payments etc.
Finance and controlling processes to be able to create business process design together with business
Hands-on experience implementing and supporting SAP FICO modules in a global setup.
Understand the end-to-end process and create specification of change requests and development tasks including Test design and execution.
Main Responsibilities:
Facilitate development of User Requirements Specifications in close collaboration with business
Proactively identify and propose business process and/or application enhancements in close collaboration with the Functional Lead for FI/CO
Facilitate workshops and super user training
Test planning and execution
Configuration management
Fit/gap analysis
Development of documentation (Design Specification, Business Blueprint, Functional Specification, Fit/Gap analysis, integrations etc)
