Descripción de la vacante

Medallia is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to own and modernize our enterprise Salesforce environment across Sales Cloud, CPQ, integrations, and internal apps used by Sales, Revenue Operations, Customer Success, Marketing, and Finance. This hybrid role blends declarative configuration with Apex and UI work.

You will move between flows, data analysis, debugging, and implementing AI-assisted capabilities, while documenting decisions and maintaining governance in an inherited architecture.

Formación

  • 4+ years supporting Salesforce in an enterprise environment as an administrator, technical analyst, developer, or combination.
  • Hands-on experience designing, developing, and integrating Sales Cloud and core platform components.
  • Experience building REST/SOAP integrations and managing data models at scale.
  • Proficient with source-driven development practices and DevOps tools (Git, Copado, VS Code).
  • Professional English communication; ability to convert unclear requests into documented requirements.
  • Track record of independent work in inherited environments with good documentation.

Responsabilidades

  • Own Salesforce work from discovery through release: clarify problems, design, estimate, implement, test, document, and support post-launch.
  • Develop and maintain solutions using Flow, Apex, LWC, SOQL, and Salesforce APIs; balance declarative vs code approaches.
  • Modernize legacy automation and integrations, reduce debt, and protect business processes.
  • Support quote-to-cash capabilities including CPQ, pricing logic, approvals, renewals, and related integrations.
  • Build integrations with internal/third-party apps using REST/SOAP; ensure secure data handling.
  • Introduce governed AI-assisted workflows with clear business value and governance.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, create runbooks, and improve monitoring for faster future diagnosis.
  • Collaborate with Revenue Ops, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, analysts, and admins to translate needs into scalable solutions.
  • Adopt source control, peer review, automated tests, and structured release practices; raise risks early.

Overview

Medallia is the pioneer and market leader in Experience Management. Our award-winning SaaS platform, Medallia Experience Cloud, leads the market in the management of experiences, insights, and actions for candidates, customers, employees, patients, and residents alike.

The Role and Team

Medallia is hiring a Senior Salesforce Developer to help own and modernize the systems that support our go-to-market teams. You will work in a large enterprise Salesforce environment across Sales Cloud, quote-to-cash, integrations, and internal applications used by Sales, Revenue Operations, Customer Success, Marketing, and Finance.

This is a hybrid builder role, not a narrow back-end development position. Some work will call for Flow, configuration, data analysis, and production support. Other work will require reading or changing Apex, troubleshooting integrations, improving legacy automation, or helping rebuild a business process that no longer scales. You should be comfortable moving between those modes and explaining your decisions to both technical and business partners.

The team is bringing more technical ownership in-house. You will have room to shape how we build, test, document, and operate Salesforce while working on practical AI-assisted capabilities, CPQ modernization, and the cleanup of inherited solutions.

The right person for this role: owns outcomes, asks good questions, documents what they learn, and can make progress in an inherited enterprise environment without waiting for perfect requirements.

  • Own Salesforce work from discovery through release: clarify the problem, propose a design, estimate the work, build or configure the solution, test it, document it, and support it after launch.

  • Develop and maintain solutions using Flow, Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, platform configuration, and Salesforce APIs. Choose code or declarative automation based on maintainability, scale, and platform limits.

  • Modernize inherited automation and custom code. Simplify overlapping Flows, legacy Apex, fragile integrations, and undocumented dependencies without breaking the business processes that rely on them.

  • Support quote-to-cash capabilities, including Salesforce CPQ, product and pricing logic, approvals, amendments, renewals, and integrations with downstream finance or billing systems.

  • Build and support integrations between Salesforce and internal or third-party applications using REST or SOAP APIs, asynchronous processing, and secure data-handling patterns.

  • Help introduce governed AI-assisted workflows into the sales platform. Focus on clear business value, data protection, traceable outcomes, and human control rather than novelty.

  • Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and leave behind useful runbooks and monitoring so the same problem is easier to diagnose the next time.

  • Work directly with Revenue Operations, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, business analysts, and Salesforce administrators to turn business needs into maintainable technical solutions.

  • Use source control, peer review, automated tests, and structured release practices. Contribute to technical standards and raise risks early when a proposed approach will create avoidable debt.

Candidates based in the Tysons, VA-US, Buenos Aires, ARG, or Mexico City, MX vicinity will be prioritized as this role is Hybrid, 3 days per week onsite.
