Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Ingeniero Eléctrico de Sistemas de Potencia Remotos to design and optimize electrical power systems for remote monitoring and control projects. The role is fully remote within Mexico and requires strong expertise in power system analysis, SCADA, and IoT-enabled solutions.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years' experience, fluency in Spanish and English, and a track record of delivering reliable energy infrastructure in remote environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power Systems.
• Minimum 7 years designing, analyzing, and operating electrical power systems, including remote applications.
• Proven expertise with power system analysis software (ETAP, PSS/E, DigSilent).
• Strong knowledge of SCADA, industrial protocols, and IoT concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer electrical power systems for remote installations (generation, distribution, protection).
• Develop control and monitoring strategies for remote power assets using SCADA and IoT technologies.
• Perform power system analysis: load flow, fault calculations, transient stability.
