Job summary

Clarios is seeking an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to lead all legal matters across Mexico and Central America. You will advise senior leadership, manage commercial contracts, and mitigate risk across civil, environmental, labor, and regulatory law.

Qualifications

Attorney licensed in Mexico with 10–18 years of experience in multinational settings.
Expertise across commercial, civil, environmental, and labor law.
Fluent in English and Spanish; Portuguese preferred.

Responsibilities

Act as business partner to leadership on corporate, commercial, and regulatory issues.
Draft, negotiate, and manage commercial contracts and agreements.
Develop strategies to prevent and manage litigation across legal areas.
Ensure corporate governance and compliance with national laws.
Supervise external counsel to ensure cost-effective, high-quality support.
Support labor and employment matters, including union relations.
Promote risk management best practices and legal operations improvements.
