LexisNexis Legal & Professional seeks an AI Engineer focused on Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to design, build, and optimize AI-powered experiences. You will create retrieval workflows, embedding pipelines, and source-grounded responses to deliver trustworthy information.

You will work with cutting-edge AI tech, ensuring quality, accuracy, and responsible AI practices across legal information products. This role offers flexible work patterns and growth opportunities.

Formación

• Hands-on experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) applications including ingestion, embedding generation, retrieval, reranking, and source-grounded responses.
• Strong understanding of Generative AI, LLM capabilities, hallucination mitigation, and response-quality evaluation.
• Experience designing and operating vector search solutions using modern vector databases.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) applications.
• Develop and manage document ingestion, chunking, embedding generation, retrieval, reranking, and source-grounded workflows.
• Design and operate vector search solutions using vector DBs (Qdrant, Pinecone, pgvector, etc.).
• Validate retrieval quality, citation accuracy, relevance, and grounding using reproducible datasets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve response quality and reduce hallucinations.
