Job summary

Global Payments in Mexico City is seeking an experienced Software QA Specialist to ensure applications meet organizational standards and end-user requirements. You will thoroughly test software for defects, document issues, and propose process improvements.

The role requires coordinating with technical and business resources to identify and resolve complex testing problems, acting as SME on testing strategies for internal and external clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business or related field; additional experience considered.
• Minimum 8+ years of relevant testing experience in software QA and testing methodologies.
• Experience with relational databases and bankcard industry knowledge is a plus.
• ISTQB certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to online, batch and data verification testing post-data migration.
• Creates test designs based on project requirements; acts as testing consultant to team members.
• Serves as SME for complex projects regarding testing techniques and processes.
• Designs and coordinates complex test plans, cases and environments with stakeholders.
• Provides guidance on automated testing strategies and tools for performance/load testing.
• Communicates progress and issues to project sponsors and leadership.
• Reviews documentation to ensure accuracy and alignment with requirements.
