GlobalLogic in Guadalajara seeks a Senior QA Automation Engineer to lead test automation for software and embedded IoT devices. You will design and maintain automation scripts, validate Embedded Linux, and drive end-to-end quality across hardware and software platforms.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years in QA with a strong Python background, experience with IoT and wireless devices, and on-site presence in Guadalajara.

Formación

5–7 years of hands-on experience inQuality Assurance with a strong focus on test automation.
Experience testing embedded IoT devices and wireless hardware.
Solid knowledge of Embedded Linux and debugging hardware-software interfaces.
Proficiency in Python for test automation and data analysis.

Responsabilidades

Design, build, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for software systems and mobile apps using Python.
Validate embedded Linux environments, IoT firmware, and wireless device capabilities with automated tests.
Develop test plans, build regression suites, and execute cross-device validation across OS versions.
Perform root cause analysis on defects and drive fast resolution with developers.
Maintain test environments, optimize QA processes, and participate in peer reviews.
Create concise test reports and release notes for stakeholders.
