GlobalLogic is seeking a Senior QA Lead to drive testing strategy for IoT and embedded platforms, collaborating with clients and cross-functional teams. The role requires leading QA efforts, designing automation, and ensuring quality across mobile and embedded systems.

You will manage test plans, environments, and regression suites, delivering clear reports and release notes for stakeholders while ensuring robust quality practices.

Formación

• Experience: 7+ years in QA with 2–3 years in a Lead role.
• Domain expertise in IoT, Embedded Systems and Wireless technologies.
• Advanced/Fluent English (written and verbal) for global communication.
• Client-facing experience with status reporting and escalation management.
• Strong Python scripting, test automation frameworks, and data analysis.
• Hands-on with Embedded Linux environments (config, troubleshooting and testing methodologies).

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the primary client-facing QA lead with status reporting and escalation processes.
• Design, build, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for mobile and embedded systems.
• Implement comprehensive test plans for IoT/Embedded platforms ensuring performance and reliability.
• Maintain robust test environments, drive sign-offs, and enhance QA and development techniques.
• Perform root cause analysis on defects and track issues in designated tools.
• Build and manage regression test suites and publish release notes for stakeholders.

• Languages: Advanced/Fluent English (written and verbal) for seamless global communication.

• Leadership & Client Engagement: Serve as the primary client-facing QA lead, managing status reporting, escalation processes, and defining overall test strategies.
• Automation & Frameworks: Design, build, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for mobile and embedded systems.
• Embedded Testing: Implement comprehensive test plans and perform testing methodologies to ensure the configuration, performance, and reliability of IoT/Embedded platforms.
• Environment & Quality Optimization: Maintain and optimize robust test environments, drive sign-off processes, and continuously enhance existing QA and development techniques.
• Root Cause & Code Analysis: Analyze solution designs, conduct peer code reviews, perform deep root cause analysis on identified defects, and track issues in designated tools.
• Regression & Release Management: Build and manage regression test suites, develop clear test reports, and publish release notes for key internal and external stakeholders.
