The role is 100% remote from any location in Mexico. The client is located in the United States. The role requires an Advanced English level and experience working with US clients.

Hiring: Contractor (Sharing an official tax invoice)

Salary: Up to $45,000 MXN gross

We are seeking an experienced Senior Python / Django Software Engineer to build, scale, and maintain mission-critical financial software. Our platform processes complex US financial instruments and real-time portfolio analytics across diverse asset classes.

We need a seasoned software engineer who takes pride in shipping robust, tested, and reliable code to production, managing schema migrations on live databases, and taking long-term architectural ownership of a high-throughput financial codebase.

The one hard gate: shipped, maintained production code. They must have built production software that was deployed, that others depend on, and that they maintained after release, not prototypes or notebooks. A strong quant who only writes research-grade code is the wrong fit here.

Non-negotiable skills:
