EPAM Systems in Mexico is seeking a Senior Python Engineer to design and evolve backend services for fintech platforms using Python, Flask, and AWS. You will build resilient APIs, lead microservice design, and drive quality with automated tests in an agile environment.

You will collaborate with global teams, tackle complex system design, and contribute to high-stakes financial workflows, while focusing on clean code, observability, and modern deployment practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Python experience with Flask and related web frameworks.
• Cloud experience using Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Strong system design across microservices, data models, and API contracts.
• Experience leading refactoring on critical financial systems.
• Strong test automation with unit and integration tests.
• Experience delivering complex applications in agile teams.
• Excellent collaboration with distributed teams and code reviews.
