Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Lead Project Planner and Scheduler to own the Level 2/3 integrated schedules using Primavera P6. You will work closely with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to reflect design progression, material lead times, and field execution, ensuring on-time delivery and accurate baselines.

You will lead baseline development, re-baselining, and critical path analyses, coordinating with sourcing and engineering to minimize delays and support EOT and claims processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
• 5+ years in project planning and scheduling within complex engineering/EPC environments.
• Experience with Primavera P6 and cross-functional project integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead ITO/OTR handover meetings and validate schedule assumptions and milestones.
• Develop L2/L3 integrated schedules using Primavera P6 to global standards.
• Integrate supplier lead times, manufacturing cycles, and logistics durations with S/C.
• Model Concurrent Engineering workflows to support procurement and construction handoffs.
• Lead Commitment Meetings to align functional owners on the project baseline.
• Monitor progress monthly, analyze float and progress curves, and update CP path.
• Perform critical path analysis and propose mitigation actions.
• Manage scheduling constraints and re-baselining activities with minimal disruption.
• Coordinate multi-unit projects and synchronize PO dates across units.
• Maintain risk registers and run What-If scenarios for schedule risk.
• Ensure data integrity across Unifier, Pulse, WIPT, and Tableau for reporting.
