Job summary

Gentherm México, con plantas en Acuña, Celaya y Monterrey, busca un Senior Production Manager para liderar operaciones de planta y garantizar la continuidad de la producción conforme a estándares de calidad ISO. El candidato ideal posee amplia experiencia en la industria automotriz y capacidad para impulsar mejoras de desempeño.

La posición exige planificar, coordinar recursos y dirigir equipos interdisciplinarios, promoviendo seguridad, eficiencia y entrega a tiempo.

Qualifications

• Experiencia mínima de 10 años en Manufactura/Operaciones.
• Experiencia en la Industria Automotriz en posición de gestión.
• Conocimiento de IATF 16949, ISO 14001 e ISO 45001.
• Conocimiento de costos, materiales y procesos.
• Habilidades de liderazgo y desarrollo de equipos.

Responsibilities

• Planificar y coordinar las actividades del proceso para la continuidad y calidad.
• Dirigir las operaciones de la planta coordinando las distintas áreas de gestión.
• Prever necesidades de personal, espacio y equipo junto con Ingeniería.
• Trabajar en equipo con otros gerentes para resolver problemas entre plantas.
• Coordinar y monitorear el desempeño del Superintendente.
• Definir metas con Supervisores de Producción.
• Evaluar el desempeño del sistema de calidad de proveedores.
• Ejecutar mejoras continuas mediante Gentherm Operating System.
• Ejecutar Gentherm PCP y módulos de Ingeniería de Procesos.
• Uso del ERP estandarizado según especificaciones.
• Cumplir requisitos de especificaciones del cliente.
• Desarrollar e implementar estrategias para mejorar métricas de manufactura.

Senior Production Manager CEL EBU

IMPACT AND OPPORTUNITY

Functions at a higher level of the organization to manage and exercise discretion over the day-to-day operations of the essential function.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan and coordinate the activities of the process, through review management to ensure the continuity, availability and effectiveness of the Quality system.
• To direct the operation activities of the plant, through the coordination of the different Managements.
• Predict personal needs, space and equipment needs together with the Engineering Manager.
• Teamwork with other Managers to lead and solve character problems between plants
• Coordinate and monitor the performance of the Superintendent.
• Work with Production Superintendents to set goals and objectives.
• Report and review the performance of the supplier's Quality system as a basis for improving our own Quality system.
• Continuous improvement execution through the Gentherm operating system.
• Gentherm PCP Execution and Process Engineering Modules.
• Use of standardized ERP system, as specified.
• Meet the requirements of customer specifications
• Develop and implement a strategy to address/improve all manufacturing metrics by working with others to improve outcomes in safety, quality, on-time delivery, labor, machine and process efficiency (with preventative maintenance), scrap/rework, timeliness and effectiveness of corrective actions, customer service/responsiveness, overhead, and labor.
• Ensure the development of the personnel in charge.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• ISO14001 / ISO45001
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Manufacturing/Operations
• Experience in the Automotive Industry in a Management position.
• Experience in manufacturing products for the Automotive Industry.
• Experience in the management of Manufacturing Process facilities
• Raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs.
• Lean manufacturing tools such as Kanban, Continuous Flow, 5S, Andon, PDCA, Poka Yoke, Root Cause Analysis, TPM, VSM, Visual Factory, Std. Work, SMED, OEE, Kaizen.
• Knowledge of the business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources, leadership, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 Internal Procedures
• Hazard identification and risk assessment procedure.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ability to develop teamwork in subordinates.
• Stop lines, machines/equipment in case situations affect the quality of the products.
• Supervise Production Managers and verify the initiation of corrective actions.
• Monitor that quality issues are identified and document them to prevent repeat non-conformities.
