Bright Machines in Mexico's Jalisco region seeks a Senior Platform Engineer to define and implement the systems behind Software Defined Manufacturing, spanning robot-to-cloud. You will collaborate with engineers across the organization to architect and deploy the stack, applying best practices to improve reliability and developer velocity.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or SRE.
• B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, C#, or Go.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools and GitOps workflows.
• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes and modern k8s paradigms (CNCF).
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, etc) and config management (Ansible).
• Experience with observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry).

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure infrastructure and tooling for Software Defined Manufacturing.
• Write clean, maintainable code, and perform peer code-reviews.
• Write clear and concise documentation and engage in cross-team communication.
• Investigate design approaches, prototype new technology and evaluate technical feasibility.
• Pair with adjacent teams to understand how your frameworks and infrastructure are used, improving developer velocity.
