Cognizant is seeking an experienced Architect to design and optimize secure PHP-based solutions on AWS for hi-tech products, ensuring reliable production support and scalable REST APIs.

The role focuses on transforming complex business needs into efficient technical architectures, enforcing secure coding aligned with OWASP practices, and guiding teams toward consistent delivery quality.

Formación

• Experience in PHP web development including designing modular components and REST APIs.
• Proven ability in secure coding for PHP following OWASP concepts.
• Strong DBMS and SQL knowledge to design normalized schemas and tune queries.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services for deployment topologies and reliability.
• Exposure to hi-tech domains aligning decisions with lifecycle and market needs.

Responsabilidades

• Design end-to-end architectures for hi-tech PHP/AWS solutions ensuring scalability and maintainability across hybrid environments.
• Oversee production support for PHP applications, analyze incidents, optimize performance and minimize downtime.
• Provide architectural guidance on DBMS design, indexing strategies and query optimization for high-volume workloads.
• Develop secure PHP components and REST APIs enabling seamless integration with front-end and back-end systems.
• Implement secure coding practices aligned with OWASP, define standards and drive remediation of vulnerabilities.
• Coordinate with development/operations teams for smooth deployments, monitoring and issue detection in day shifts.
• Create and maintain architecture docs, data flows and interface contracts communicating system behavior.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate product roadmaps into reusable architectural patterns.
