Formación

Job Title

Commercial Lead

The Role

This is a senior, hands-on commercial position at the intersection of sales, partnerships, and strategy. You will define and execute Zapp's early commercial roadmap — identifying potential partners, structuring go-to-market opportunities, and driving pilots that set the stage for scalable growth. Collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, and Operations to turn opportunities into tangible business results and help position Zapp as a trusted technology partner for the remittance industry.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute Zapp's early commercial and partnership strategy.
  • Build relationships with remittance companies (MTOs), payment platforms, and fintechs.
  • Leverage data and market insights to identify trends and prioritize opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering on technical feasibility and partner integrations.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements and pilot structures.
  • Represent Zapp at key industry events.
  • Track performance, analyze pipeline metrics, and share insights with leadership.
  • Build and mentor an early commercial team.
Experience

10+ years in business development, sales, or commercial strategy — ideally within remittances, payments, or fintech.

  • Network: Strong relationships (or the ability to build them quickly) across remittance companies, payment aggregators, processors, or fintechs in the U.S. and LATAM.
  • Track Record: Proven success developing and scaling revenue-driving opportunities or partnerships.
  • Skills: Strong communicator and negotiator; skilled in commercial structuring, data analysis, and go-to-market strategy.
  • Mindset: Entrepreneurial, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving, early-stage environment.
  • Technology: Tech-fluent and data-driven — able to connect business needs with product capabilities.
  • Language: Bilingual (English & Spanish).
  • Location: Based in LATAM or the U.S.
