Qualifications

• Postgraduate degree in physics or optics, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years in passive optical components or related fields.
• Hands-on experience designing, assembling, and testing optical components or optoelectronic systems.
• Knowledge of optical fibers and measurement techniques for optical sub-assemblies.
• Experience applying statistics and problem-solving methods to manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CAD software, and programming or lab environments (Python, LabVIEW, etc.).
• Strong technical communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, prototyping, testing, and optimization of optical assemblies and sub-assemblies, focusing on fiber-to-chip applications.
• Introduce new optical products and processes into manufacturing with clear documentation, reports, and presentations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary and international teams to resolve challenges and implement improvements.
• Apply statistical methods to analyze optical assembly processes and improve production performance.
