Job summary

Acronis is seeking a hands-on Network Engineer to own and operate the data center fabric, virtualization clusters, and cloud connectivity across Azure, GCP, and AWS. You will design, implement, and maintain the network infrastructure to keep internal platforms running with autonomy and accountability.

You will troubleshoot, harden security with the Security team, manage remote access VPNs, and coordinate with vendors while planning capacity for corporate sites and data centers.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years as a network engineer or administrator in production.
• Strong TCP/IP knowledge and network design principles.
• Hands-on with routing (BGP/OSPF), switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Experience with VPNs, cloud networking (Azure/GCP/AWS) and enterprise vendors.
• Proactive, calm, and communicative with a methodical mindset.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain the network infrastructure for continuous operations.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot incidents, and resolve issues before users are impacted.
• Collaborate with Security to harden the network and respond to threats.
• Manage remote access and site-to-site VPN for distributed workforce.
• Run networking for virtualization clusters and cloud environments (Azure, GCP, AWS).
• Coordinate with ISPs and vendors on issues and capacity planning.
• Plan capacity and hardware lifecycle with proper maintenance windows.
