CPKC is seeking a Senior Network Designer to join our Information Services Network Design team. This senior technical leadership role will lead the architecture and design of Cisco LAN and WAN networks, supporting critical rail operations across Canada, the United States, and Mexico.

The successful candidate will drive the design, implementation, and lifecycle management of secure, resilient, and high-performing network solutions.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years of enterprise network design with leadership and delivery skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.

Responsabilidades

• Lead architecture and design of enterprise LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, wireless, data center, and cloud connectivity.
• Drive Cisco ACI, Azure and AWS networking, and network automation initiatives.
• Collaborate with Operations, Cybersecurity, EA, Cloud, and delivery teams to deliver scalable networks.
• Provide mentorship to junior network designers and engineering excellence.
• Design, provision, and troubleshoot Nokia 1830, MPLS, and related platforms.
