McDonald’s Global Technology in Mexico City is seeking a senior software engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services for the digital loyalty platform. You will lead feature delivery, mentor teammates, and collaborate across product, data, and marketing teams to deliver value.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of enterprise software experience, strong C#/.NET skills, and hands-on work with RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud-native architectures on AWS/GCP.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience building enterprise applications and services.
• Experience developing applications using C#, .NET, and related technologies.
• Experience designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs and web services.
• Experience developing cloud-native applications on GCP and AWS.
• Experience building microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Experience with source control systems and collaborative development practices.
• Understanding of software design principles and OO programming.
• Experience troubleshooting application issues and supporting production systems.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Scrum ceremonies.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing applications and APIs using .NET technologies.
• Build and enhance software solutions that support McDonald's digital loyalty customer experience platform.
• Lead feature delivery, story decomposition, technical mentoring, coordinating engineers and managing risks.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven integrations.
• Perform code reviews and contribute to improving code quality and reliability.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve defects, performance issues, and incidents.
• Implement automated testing and CI/CD to improve quality and delivery velocity.
• Contribute to observability, monitoring, and operational excellence initiatives.
• Work within Agile delivery teams, participate in sprint planning and ceremonies.
• Collaborate with distributed teams to support capabilities and platform enhancements.
• Evaluate new technologies to improve scalability and developer productivity.
• Support technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the engineering team.
