Applaudo Studios in León, Mexico, seeks a senior backend engineer to own critical services within our large-scale enterprise integration platform. You will design, build, and maintain event-driven, cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure that unify multiple business verticals into a single, scalable integration layer.

This 6‑month contractor role requires deep .NET expertise (C#, .NET 6/8), hands-on Azure Service Bus and Functions, and strong collaboration with our US‑based team.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of professional backend software development experience.
• Proven track record delivering complex backend solutions using the .NET ecosystem (C#, .NET 6/8).
• Solid experience with Azure Service Bus and Azure Functions for event-driven, serverless architectures.
• Experience with API Management and observability/APM tools (Application Insights, Datadog, or New Relic).
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining robust RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design and enterprise integration patterns.
• Strong understanding of SOLID, design patterns, and testing (TDD a plus).
• Team-oriented with ability to collaborate in shared-ownership architecture.
• Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools in daily workflow.
• Excellent English communication with US-based team and stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and own features within the core enterprise integration layer from design to deployment and monitoring.
• Implement event-driven solutions using Azure Service Bus and Azure Functions.
• Collaborate with the Principal Architect, tech leads, and other developers to deliver scalable solutions.
• Own tasks from planning through delivery with minimal supervision.
• Communicate progress, blockers, and decisions clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Champion code quality, testing, and CI/CD practices; participate in code reviews.
• Troubleshoot issues in distributed cloud environments using Application Insights or similar tooling.
