ICON in Mexico is seeking a Senior Medical Coding Specialist to lead coding for clinical trial data, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance. You will work with MedDRA and WHO Drug Dictionary, collaborating with data management and safety teams and mentoring junior coders.
You will stay current with coding standards, contribute to SOPs, and help ensure data quality across global studies.
Formación
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, healthcare or related field.
- Extensive experience in medical coding with MedDRA and WHO Drug Dictionary knowledge.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements for coding and data management.
Responsabilidades
- Lead the medical coding process for clinical trial data with accuracy and consistency.
- Collaborate with clinical data management, safety and operations teams to resolve coding discrepancies.
- Mentor junior coding specialists and ensure training on coding best practices.
- Develop and implement coding guidelines, QC processes and SOPs.
- Ensure timely completion of coding tasks to meet project timelines.
- Stay updated on coding standards and regulatory changes.
