Boschgroup is seeking a Sr. Mechanical Project Leader to act as a sub project leader in OEM development, coordinating mechanical engineering activities and leading a cross-functional team.

The role focuses on delivering high-quality components from development through production, managing scope, schedule, budget, and risk, and ensuring a safe, on-time launch with strong stakeholder communication.

Formación

• Develop and implement defined technical content per project targets.
• Lead cross-functional teams and manage all mechanical activities.
• Coordinate internal and supplier schedules to fit steering system timelines.
• Perform risk management within the discipline and support PjM on mitigations.
• Plan and track technical requirements and effort across hardware, software, and system teams.
• Implement technical requirements per specifications and processes.
• Estimate technical requirements and effort within project scope.
• Track project effort and budget to meet targets.
• Consult OEM on technical discussions and gain approvals.
• Provide regular project status reports to team and management.
• Support PjM in technical issue resolution; root-cause analysis.
• Prepare releases: validation, verification, testing, quality gates.
• Create and release BOM; manage work products and delivery.
• Maintain technical data containers for production readiness.
• Create and release D-FMEA; ensure team performance and conflict management.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a cross-functional development team coordinating mechanical engineering tasks.
• Drive supplier integration and schedule alignment into steering system development.
• Manage risks and ensure timely, quality deliverables.
• Communicate status and issues to project team and top management.
• Ensure compliance with defined processes and release gates.
• Support OEM discussions and obtain necessary approvals.
