Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Production Process Engineer in Reynosa, Mexico to design, optimize, and implement world-class manufacturing processes within a high-volume environment.

You will lead Industry 4.0 initiatives, drive automation, and collaborate with engineering, quality, production, and R&D teams to deliver measurable improvements in efficiency, quality, and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering.
• 8-10 years of experience in manufacturing process engineering in a high-volume environment.
• Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement experience; Green/Black Belt is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of advanced manufacturing processes, equipment, and automation solutions.
• Drive Industry 4.0 initiatives to improve operational efficiency and manufacturing performance.
• Analyze production processes to identify opportunities for throughput, waste reduction, and quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new products into operations.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and assist with equipment selection.
• Develop and maintain process documentation and SOPs.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor colleagues in continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and guidelines.
