Mattel Brick Shop in Monterrey, Mexico seeks a Senior Manager, Product Development to lead the Product Development team from concept through production, partnering with Design, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain and Manufacturing to deliver high-quality construction toys.

You will build technical capabilities, drive engineering excellence, and ensure products meet quality, safety, cost and manufacturability targets while leading a high-performing team.

Competenze

• 10+ years of experience in product development, engineering, or related fields.
• 5+ years of people leadership experience managing technical teams.
• Strong understanding of product development, plastic part design, tooling, and manufacturing processes.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and verbal.

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Product Development team.
• Drive end-to-end product development from concept through production.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to translate product concepts into manufacturable solutions.
• Establish and improve product development processes, standards, and best practices.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders, suppliers, and manufacturing partners to resolve technical challenges and deliver projects on time.
• Support tooling development, production readiness, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure products meet Mattel's quality, safety, and compliance requirements.
