Corge Staffing and Coforge is seeking an experienced Staff Software Engineer (Frontend) to lead front-end architecture and UI component design. You will drive scalable front-end systems, champion accessibility, and work across product and design to deliver high-quality, responsive web applications.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in frontend engineering, deep JavaScript/TypeScript expertise, and familiarity with React, Vue, and Svelte, including design systems and performance optimization.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of frontend engineering with deep knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience with React, Vue, and Svelte across multiple frameworks.
• Strong understanding of HTML/CSS, performance, and accessibility.
• Experience architecting design systems and working with REST APIs.

We are seeking a highly experienced Frontend Staff Software Engineer with 7+ years of professional experience to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in front-end and browser technologies, a passion for thoughtful developer and user experience design, and the ability to develop responsive web applications that are innovative, intuitive, and impactful for our customers.

This role contributes to the creation of core UI capabilities that power user experiences across the product platform. The candidate will work across team boundaries to design and develop components and performance-optimized front-end systems that scale, blending technical depth with product sensitivity, and bringing a platform mindset to front-end development.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive reusable, reliable, and scalable front-end architectures across the platform experiences.
• Lead the design and development of shared UI components and design systems, with attention to accessibility, theming, maintainability, and developer ergonomics.
• Champion UX and front-end performance across browsers and devices; partner with design and product to improve interactivity and visual fidelity.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and product partners to align on front-end strategies and standards, elevate UI consistency, and reduce duplication.
• Serve as a front-end thought leader and mentor, coaching engineers and shaping team- and department-wide best practices.
• Treat components and libraries as products — develop excellent documentation, usage patterns, and internal developer experience (DX).
• Contribute full-stack as needed, collaborating with backend developers to integrate UIs with APIs.
• Participate in an on-call rotation, providing prompt incident resolution and conducting postmortems to improve system reliability.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in frontend engineering, including deep knowledge of JavaScript (and TypeScript), with working familiarity across multiple frameworks (React, Vue, Svelte, etc.) without loyalty to any single one.
• Expert-level understanding of browser fundamentals: HTML, CSS (Flexbox, Grid), DOM, event lifecycle, rendering, and performance tuning.
• Strong experience using browser dev tools across Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc. for layout debugging, JS tracing, and performance profiling.
• Demonstrated experience architecting and maintaining component-based design systems with support for theming, responsive behavior, and accessibility.
• Passion for user experience, developer ergonomics, and performance measurement (including Core Web Vitals).
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, influence others, and align multiple teams around technical direction.
• Solid understanding of back-end technologies, architectural patterns, RESTful APIs, and authentication/authorization patterns (OAuth, JWT, etc.).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation, providing prompt incident resolution and conducting postmortems to improve system reliability.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building production applications using a Server Driven UI (SDUI) approach across web and mobile clients.
• Experience working in a platform or SaaS company.
