Sequoia Connect is seeking a Senior Java Developer to design, build, and deploy backend services using Java 21 and microservices. You will work closely with global teams, apply design patterns, and operate in Kubernetes environments to deliver robust software.

The role starts fully on-site in Reforma, Mexico City for four months to align onboarding and project goals, after which a hybrid schedule will apply. Strong English and native Spanish are required.

Formación

• Senior-level proficiency as a Java developer; Java 21 preferred.
• Mastery of software design patterns.
• Hands-on experience building microservices with Quarkus.
• Strong Kubernetes expertise and operating within containerized environments.
• High-performance mindset with agile delivery focus.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and implement backend applications using Java and microservices architecture.
• Apply advanced design patterns to create scalable, maintainable software.
• Manage application workloads within Kubernetes environments.
• Collaborate with global engineering teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality products.
• Work on-site in Reforma, Mexico City for the first 4 months, then transition to a hybrid model.
