BairesDev is hiring an IoT Engineer to design and develop firmware and embedded software powering next‑gen connected devices for industrial and automotive use. You’ll connect hardware and software, ensuring reliable performance.

Expect 100% remote work with flexible hours, excellent compensation in USD or your local currency, and a setup provided to work from home. Candidates should have 5+ years in IoT/embedded, strong C/C++, embedded Linux and RTOS experience.

Formación

5+ years of experience in IoT Engineering, Embedded Systems, or Firmware Development.
Proven expertise in building firmware and embedded software for IoT, automotive, and industrial devices.
Advanced proficiency in C/C++ and experience with embedded Linux and RTOS such as FreeRTOS or Zephyr.
Hands-on experience with microcontroller programming, device drivers, and low-level debugging.
Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsabilidades

Architect and develop robust firmware and embedded systems for a variety of IoT and industrial devices.
Program microcontrollers and implement low-level device drivers to facilitate seamless hardware-software communication.
Utilize embedded Linux and RTOS environments to build scalable and efficient device software.
Debug and optimize system performance at a low level to ensure reliability and energy efficiency.
Implement secure remote access and over-the-air update capabilities to maintain a high-performing fleet of devices.
