AutoZone in Monterrey, Mexico seeks a detail-oriented General Ledger Accountant to ensure inventory integrity and timely period-end close. You will book journal entries, reconcile general ledger accounts, and prepare documentation for internal and external audits in collaboration with the manager.

The role requires 3–5 years of general accounting experience, knowledge of MEX/US GAAP and IFRS, and strong English and computer skills; experience in shared service centers and retail is beneficial.

Formación

• Three to five years of general accounting experience.
• Experience with shared service centers and retail industry optional.
• Knowledge of Mexico and US accounting rules (GAAP IFRS).

Responsabilidades

• Prepare journal entries for import/local purchases, transfers, and vendor charges.
• Reconcile GL accounts and prepare monthly/period close documentation.
• Coordinate with auditors (EY) and provide supporting documentation.
• Prepare reconciliations of assets and liabilities and analyze variances in financial statements.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting
