• Minimum 5 years of experience in HSE, 3 years in the automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and CTPAT standards.
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with cross‑functional teams.

About the Team

The Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) team at ZF Toluca is committed to maintaining a safe, compliant, and sustainable workplace. We work closely with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure adherence to legal and corporate standards. Our team fosters a proactive safety culture and supports continuous improvement initiatives across the site.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the Environmental Health and Safety Management System aligned with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and CTPAT standards.
• Ensure compliance with Mexican regulations (STPS, SSA, SEMARNAT) and internal policies.
• Advise site and business managers on EHS objectives and legal/client requirements.
• Monitor and report EHS and energy performance metrics to management.
• Coordinate documentation and recordkeeping for audits and regulatory agencies.
• Support achievement of company and client EHS goals and objectives.
• Promote a risk‑free work environment for employee health and safety.
• Manage environmental, health, and safety files and resources effectively.

Qualifications

• Degree in Industrial, Environmental, Mechanical, Electromechanical, Electrical, Electronic, or Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in HSE, 3 years in the automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and CTPAT standards.
• Familiarity with Mexican environmental and safety regulations.
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
