Job summary

NXP Semiconductors in Mexico seeks an experienced Hardware Program Manager to drive end-to-end development programs, ensuring delivery against scope, schedule, budget, and quality. You will govern NPI and FTK initiatives, coordinate with multiple business lines and external partners, and lead governance, KPI reviews, and executive reporting.

The role requires 5+ years in project/program management within hardware/electronics, plus strong stakeholder management and budgeting skills to align

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Supply Chain, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in Project Management, Program Management, Product Development, Manufacturing Operations.
• Familiarity with design release, fabrication, assembly, bring-up, validation, and manufacturing-readiness activities.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional projects in global and matrix organizations.
• Experience coordinating activities with external suppliers and strategic partners.
• Experience with embedded systems, hardware development, or electronics manufacturing.
• Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end hardware development programs across scope, schedule, budget, quality and business objectives.
• Govern NPI and FTK initiatives through KPI management, supplier oversight, risk mitigation, and alignment.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration across many functions to enable successful product delivery.
• Manage multiple hardware development projects and strategic initiatives across portfolios.
• Develop and maintain schedules, milestones, budgets, resource plans and risk strategies.
• Lead NPI HW programs from concept through manufacturing readiness and release.
• Establish program governance with KPI reviews, schedule tracking, risk management and reporting.
• Track project financials including budgets, forecasts, commitments, and spend performance.
• Coordinate resource planning and ensure supplier execution aligns with objectives.
