Sulzer is a leading engineering company seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee centralized accounting operations within a Center of Excellence. The role leads a team, ensures global accounting standards, and drives efficiency in financial processes for Sulzer Pumps México, S.A. de C.V.

with a focus on tax strategies and compliance. The position requires 5–7 years of tax experience, leadership exposure, advanced English, and SAP/ERP proficiency.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• At least 5–7 years progressive tax experience, preferably in multinational or big accounting firms.
• 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Solid knowledge of Mexican tax law including ISR, VAT, and customs regulations.
• Experience with transfer pricing and international taxation.
• Advanced Excel and tax/accounting software (ERP like SAP) skills.
• Fluent in English for communication with headquarters and international teams.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and supervise tax preparation and filing at federal, state, and local levels.
• Ensure timely, accurate compliance with tax and customs obligations.
• Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize the company’s tax burden.
• Coordinate external and internal tax audits and respond to authorities.
• Stay updated on tax law changes and assess impact on business.
• Advise management on tax implications of business decisions.
• Oversee transfer pricing compliance and other international regulations.
• Manage and train the tax team or coordinate with accounting department.
• Prepare and present periodic tax reports to leadership.
• Collaborate with external tax advisors as needed.
