Job summary

Unosquare, Inc. is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to lead design, migration and ongoing operation of a global enterprise network.

You will consolidate a multi-vendor environment onto a unified Fortinet platform, owning network infrastructure across nine sites and two data centers, shaping how the network is run for years to come. You will own the WAN, implement SD-WAN, firewall, wireless, and drive migrations to cloud (AWS with Azure connectivity).

Qualifications

• 7+ years of enterprise network engineering experience with multi-site international WAN.
• Expert-level Fortinet experience: FortiGate, FortiOS SD-WAN, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, FortiAP, NSE 4+.
• Strong Cisco Catalyst switching skills (IOS/IOS-XE) and VLANs, spanning tree, QoS.
• Solid routing and WAN expertise: BGP, OSPF, IPsec VPN, NAT, carrier circuit management.
• Experience managing network vendors, carriers and MSPs.
• Professional fluency in English and Spanish.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Monterrey metro area.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of target-state network architecture including SD-WAN, firewall and wireless.
• Own the global WAN, including circuit strategy, provisioning, performance and transitions across North America, Mexico, UK and APAC.
• Maintain firewall policy, segmentation standards, change control and documentation for all sites and data centers.
• Lead site migrations as on-site lead for Monterrey and remote lead for international locations.
• Support separation of colocation data centers and migration of workloads to AWS with hybrid connectivity to Azure/AWS.
• Define network operations and monitoring requirements for MSPs and oversee service levels.
• Partner with Security on vulnerability remediation, firmware lifecycle and secure baselines.
• Develop and test DR procedures and produce architecture diagrams, standards and status reports.
