The role is ideally hybrid from our Mexico City office, with remote considered. EarnIn offers healthcare, internet/cell reimbursement, and a learning stipend, plus travel to Mountain View when possible.

Formación

• 4+ years of development experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience building and maintaining end-to-end web applications using modern backend languages (Go, C#, Python) and frontend frameworks (React, TypeScript).
• Hands-on experience with relational databases.
• Experience managing infrastructure and service configurations using Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Helm, Kustomize, Terraform).
• Deploy and operate backend services in a Kubernetes-based environment, optimizing resiliency and performance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT, or similar).
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a bias toward action and results.

Responsabilidades

• Design & build key components for EarnIn’s time-and-attendance system.
• Develop robust, secure backend services and APIs (Go) and frontend features (ReactJS) for the new time & attendance product.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver high-impact features end to end.
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable backend microservices for payroll products.
• Investigate and resolve production issues focusing on root cause analysis and long-term stability.
• Contribute to a modern platform handling time-critical workflows with reliability.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and best practices across backend and frontend codebases.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality software features within established timelines.
