Job summary

AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to build backend services with Java and Spring Boot, supported by an Angular frontend, for an enterprise platform.

You will design robust RESTful APIs, apply OOD and design patterns, work with PostgreSQL or Oracle, and help modernize architectures toward domain-driven designs in cross-functional squads.

This role features flextime with remote and office options and USD-based compensation.

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in Java (Spring Boot) and Angular (4+ years).
• Strong grasp of OOD and software design patterns.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful services with standard APIs.
• Relational databases experience (PostgreSQL, Oracle) and JPA/Hibernate; solid SQL skills.
• Passion for server-side logic, performance, and architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust backend services using Java and Spring Boot (70–80%).
• Develop and maintain the Angular frontend to connect with backend logic.
• Lead modernization toward domain-driven architecture (DDD).
• Architect RESTful APIs with proper HTTP verbs and scalable patterns.
