Ford México seeks an experienced Full-Stack Software Engineer to build the software ecosystem powering our AI Vision Systems, connecting edge ML models with Google Cloud analytics. This hands-on role demands strong Python, React, and containerization skills, with collaboration across data science and hardware teams.

The position emphasizes edge deployment, cloud-based analytics, and UI dashboards, using Docker/Kubernetes, MQTT/WebSockets, and modern ML frameworks.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in a production environment.
• Experience deploying software to edge computing hardware or IoT devices.
• Strong proficiency in Python (required) and at least one other language (C++, Go, or Node.js).
• Experience building on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or similar with managed database services.
• Experience building responsive web applications with React or similar modern frameworks.
• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and version control (Git).
• Experience with OpenCV, TensorRT, or OpenVINO for vision optimization.
• Familiarity with ML frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.

Responsabilidades

• Edge Software Integration: Develop and optimize software to deploy ML models on edge devices with low latency.
• Full-Stack API Development: Build scalable RESTful APIs and microservices (Python/C++) for edge-cloud communication.
• Data Architecture: Design and manage data pipelines using Google Cloud tools for real-time data and telemetry.
• Web Interfaces: Create high-performance dashboards (React/TypeScript) for monitoring and visualization.
• AI-Augmented Engineering: Leverage Agentic AI tools to accelerate development and maintain code quality.
• Cross-Functional Delivery: Collaborate with Data Scientists to containerize models and with Hardware Engineers to validate on the factory floor.
