Job summary

Vanguard Mexico is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join the Digital Experience team. You will design and deliver cloud-native, full-stack web apps using Angular, Java, TypeScript, and AWS, working across product, UX, security, QA, and platform teams.

This hands-on role focuses on scalable architectures, API-driven solutions with GraphQL/REST, and CI/CD pipelines. You will mentor peers and contribute to security, performance, and governance while shaping engineering practices in Mexico

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software development experience, senior-level full-stack preferred.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent education/experience.
• Hands-on with Angular, Java, and TypeScript.
• Proven AWS deployment experience.
• Experience designing and consuming GraphQL and RESTful APIs.
• CI/CD, build and deployment automation, and Docker.

Responsibilities

• Own features end to end from architecture to production support.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack apps with Angular, Java, TypeScript, and AWS.
• Build API-driven solutions using GraphQL and RESTful APIs.
• Create responsive, accessible UX aligned with design systems and standards.
• Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Collaborate with product, UX, QA, security, and platform teams.
• Mentor less-experienced developers and contribute to code reviews and testing.
• Support production applications and participate in incident and release management.
• Explore AI-assisted engineering patterns to improve development and governance.
• Ensure solutions meet Vanguard’s security and information standards.
