AgileEngine, LLC. seeks aSenior Frontend Engineer to lead front-end architecture and build user interfaces for a cloud workload and data mobility SaaS platform.

You will collaborate with the UI/UX team and product management to design new features and improve existing ones, turning mockups into front-end code and integrating REST APIs. Turn designs into scalable, enterprise-class applications for the cloud, participate in code reviews, and work across the full SDLC with quality and DevOps teams.

Formación

• Proven React experience and ability to organize code structure.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
• Familiar with SDLC, design feedback, and working with Figma/mockups.
• Strong programming skills and troubleshooting ability.
• Excellent teamwork, leadership when needed, and clear communication.
• Ability explain technical concepts to customers effectively.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to lead front-end architecture and build user interfaces for a cloud workload and data mobility SaaS platform.

MUST HAVES

• - Extensive experience with React, including setting and enforcing code structure and organization methods.
• - Experience implementing and consuming REST APIs.
• - Working knowledge of the software product development lifecycle, including design and feedback iterations with Figma, wireframes and mockups.
• - Strong programming and troubleshooting skills.
• - Exceptional teamwork skills: knows when to lead and when to follow.
• - Excellent organizational skills; able to handle and prioritize multiple tasks.
• - Clear verbal and written communication with internal employees and external customers.
• - A passion for explaining technical concepts to customers in understandable language.

NICE TO HAVES

• - Front-end architecture experience and ability to guide junior/mid-level engineers.
• - Solid software design fundamentals beyond React (e.g., model-presenter patterns).
• - Awareness of web request overhead and API design trade-offs (e.g., aggregated vs. granular endpoints).
• - Linux/Windows installation and configuration, including networking and storage setup.
• - Practical experience as a software developer with AWS, Azure, GCP, OpenShift and/or VMware vSphere.
• - Experience evaluating and implementing new tools and libraries that improve customer experience and developer productivity.
• - Consuming REST APIs from Spring Framework.
• - Jira, GitHub and Gerrit.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• - Iterate on front-end improvements.
• - Work with the UI/UX team and product management to design new features and improve existing ones.
• - Turn mockups and designs into front-end code.
• - Integrate the user interface with REST APIs, both internal and 3rd party.
• - Participate in code reviews.
• - Work with quality engineering and take part in the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• - Work directly with product management, product engineers, quality engineers and DevOps engineers on scalable, enterprise-class SaaS applications for the cloud.
