Sensata Technologies in Mexico is seeking a Financial Planning Analyst to support forecasting, budgeting, reporting and analytical insight across the finance function.

The role emphasizes collaboration, model building, variance analysis, and action-oriented recommendations to optimize costs and drive growth for the business unit.

Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree, be a team player with strong communication and Excel skills, and be capable of presenting findings to leadership.

Formación

• A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands.
• Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation.
• Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results.
• Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity.
• Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
• Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers.

Responsabilidades

• Forecast, report, and track operational metrics.
• Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support.
• Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews.
• Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.
• Provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimization.
• Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; study proposed changes in methods and materials.
• Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, and tools.
• Analyze the market and identify opportunities for growth and potential risks.
