Job summary

Johnson & Johnson in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico is seeking a Senior Facilities Maintenance Technician to oversee and perform maintenance on industrial facilities, health-compliant systems, and utilities. The role emphasizes safe, proactive maintenance and coordination of capital projects.

You will maintain building systems, manage spare parts, and ensure compliance with GMP and environmental regulations while supporting a manufacturing environment focused on high reliability and safety.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or Associate Degree in a technical field such as Refrigeration or HVAC or Electrician is required.
• Extensive experience as a Technician in two or more of electronics, mechanics, electromechanical or industrial disciplines.
• Refrigerant (CFC) certification through Universal or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensures facility maintenance and controlled environmental monitoring activities are complete, recorded and on schedule.
• Participates in facilities equipment installations, as required.
• Performs site infrastructure and building system minor equipment repairs.
• Ensures building systems contractors follow EES requirements when working on site premises.
• Manage and record spare parts inventory for facilities systems and equipment.
• Follows all company safety policies and safety precautions within the work area.
• Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level
• For those who supervise or manage a staff, ensure subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices
