Base pay range

$35.00/hr - $45.00/hr

Description:

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Informatica Cloud ETL Consultant to join our team for an exciting data integration/migration project. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), strong experience in ETL development, and a solid understanding of cloud-based data integration processes.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop ETL workflows using Informatica IICS.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Optimize performance of ETL processes and perform root-cause analysis of any issues.
• Integrate data from multiple cloud and on-premises sources (e.g., Salesforce, AWS, Azure, Snowflake, Oracle, SQL Server).
• Develop and maintain technical documentation including design specifications, data flow diagrams, and operational procedures.
• Participate in data architecture planning and contribute to best practices for data integration.
• Support UAT, deployment, and production environments by troubleshooting and resolving issues promptly.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance standards are maintained across all pipelines.
• Optimize performance and ensure data quality across workflows.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience with Informatica Cloud/IICS.
• 7+ years of experience in ETL development and data integration.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Informatica Cloud (IICS).
• Strong knowledge of Informatica PowerCenter and experience migrating to IICS is a plus.
• Experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse, or Google BigQuery.
• Proficiency in SQL and performance tuning for large datasets.
• Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs and real-time data integration approaches.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, star/snowflake schemas, and data modeling.
• Strong knowledge of ETL processes and data integration.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices for ETL deployments.
• Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages for automation.
• Agile/Scrum methodology experience.
