GBG is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the Go Core Platform group, overseeing three full‑stack squads aligned to value streams. You’ll drive delivery outcomes, ensure platform coherence, and partner with Product, Design, Architecture and Customer teams.

You’ll shape AI-enabled engineering practices, set standards, manage technical debt and resilient platforms, and lead people initiatives across globally distributed engineers.

Formación

• Significant engineering management experience, including leading multiple teams or a group of squads (20+ engineers).
• Experience delivering customer-facing SaaS platforms at scale.
• Full-stack technical depth to challenge design decisions.
• Strong practice in CI/CD, trunk-based development, feature flags and progressive delivery.
• Experience with AI-assisted development workflows.
• Ability to measure impact with metrics and systems thinking.
• Experience leading in a globally distributed environment.
• Excellent communication across technical, product and executive audiences.
• Nice to have: identity verification, KYC/AML, RegTech domain knowledge.
• Background with journey orchestration, SDKs or embeddable widgets.
• Experience building or scaling internal developer platforms.

Responsabilidades

• Own delivery outcomes for the Go API, Hosted Journeys and Interactions Editor squads — scope, sequencing, quality and predictability.
• Create commitments with Product and manage dependencies, communicating clearly when plans must adapt.
• Coordinate three streams and manage cross-squad dependencies to prevent blockers.
• Establish meaningful delivery signals to drive decisions rather than merely reporting activity.
• Partner with architects on API design, runtime behaviour, configuration modelling and boundaries.
• Maintain shared standards for reliability, performance, observability and security of surfaces.
• Balance technical debt with platform resilience as strategic investments.
• Converge patterns across streams into common components and contracts.
• Lead AI-assisted development adoption across squads with governance and guardrails.
• Define success metrics for adoption and impact on throughput and quality.
• Codify repeatable practices and share them across the engineering organization.
• Adapt planning and review rituals to emphasis on judgement and verification.
