Akkodis is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop, and optimize high-performance embedded platforms. You will work on distributed systems with multiple microcontrollers, creating scalable firmware architectures and real-time software solutions.

You will leverage Bare Metal and RTOS environments, develop UART/SPI/I2C/IPC communication, and drive debugging, profiling, and optimization alongside hardware and V&V teams. Strong MISRA/ASPICE/ISO 26262 experience is valued.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Embedded Software Development.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with C/C++.
• 1+ year of experience with Python.
• 1+ year of experience with FreeRTOS and/or SafeRTOS.
• Strong experience from device drivers through application-level functionality.
• Experience with embedded communication protocols: UART, SPI, I2C, IPC, Ethernet.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills in embedded environments.
• Experience working directly with hardware and debugging tools.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop software for distributed embedded systems with multiple microcontrollers.
• Create reusable, scalable, and maintainable firmware architectures and software components.
• Develop low-level software solutions using Bare Metal and RTOS environments.
• Implement real-time Ethernet communication solutions.
• Design and develop communication protocols over UART, SPI, I2C, and IPC interfaces.
• Perform low-level debugging, root cause analysis, and performance optimization.
• Profile and optimize CPU, memory, bus utilization, and power consumption.
• Collaborate with hardware, system, integration, and V&V teams.
• Develop automated testing frameworks and scripts using Python.
• Support hardware bring-up, integration activities, and HIL validation.
• Ensure compliance with MISRA, ASPICE, and ISO 26262.
• Create and maintain software requirements, architecture documentation, and traceability artifacts.
• Interface with external vendors and support integration of third-party firmware components.
