Robert Bosch Group seeks a Sr. Embedded SW Engineer I for ASW components in embedded C within secure vehicle access systems. You will collaborate with global teams, suppliers, and customers to deliver robust software with a strong focus on performance and security.

The role emphasizes requirements analysis, integration with BSW, and end-to-end feature delivery, including leadership in reviews and mentorship to junior engineers.

Formación

• Strong experience in embedded software development using C for automotive systems.
• Proven experience in requirement analysis and translating requirements into robust software solutions.
• Ability to clarify requirements and drive technical alignment with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in test case design and execution for functional and system validation.
• Strong debugging and root cause analysis skills in embedded environments.
• Experience ensuring overall system performance and interaction between application software and lower layers.
• Experience working with OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze system and software requirements and translate them into high-quality application software solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain Application Software (ASW) components in embedded C.
• Lead integration of application features within the overall system architecture (including interaction with BSW and hardware layers).
• Perform debugging, root cause analysis, and resolution of complex software defects.
• Develop and execute test cases for functional validation and system-level verification.
• Participate in and lead technical reviews (requirements, design, code, and testing).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (system, hardware, validation) to ensure end-to-end feature performance.
• Interface with customers and suppliers to clarify requirements, track issues, and drive resolution.
• Support software release activities, including build, integration, and defect triage.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
