Jabil in Mexico is seeking an Application Administrator I to maintain and support existing eCommerce business system applications including Sterling GIS and BizTalk 2004. The role involves leading EDI projects, developing test plans, and collaborating with teams to deliver scalable IT solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, solid knowledge of SQL/UNIX, and experience with SAP and BizTalk 2004.

Formación

• Customer service skills and effective communication – verbal and written.
• Knowledge of Windows and UNIX operating systems with Gentran integration tools.
• Understanding of database objects: tables, views, keys, indexes, stored procedures.
• Experience with SAP and IDOC processing.
• Familiarity with Microsoft BizTalk 2004 and EDI standards (ANSI, EDIFACT, Rosettnet PIP 2.0).
• Strong analytical, mathematical and organizational skills.
• Ability to present information to managers, clients and the public.

Responsabilidades

• Perform all duties of the Application Administrator I.
• Lead EDI projects for customers and vendors.
• Develop and execute test plans.
• Collaborate with functional resources to clarify requirements.
• Develop architectural and process solutions to match specs.
• Prepare technical specifications with senior eCommerce programmer.
• Support Trading Partners and EC Operations staff as required.
• Provide updates to managers on progress.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities by streamlining processes.
• Drive continuous improvement through trends and metrics.
• Ensure procedures and work instructions are efficient and non-redundant.
• Share best practices across Jabil facilities.
• Adhere to Health, Safety and Quality policies.
• Maintain data confidentiality.
