Daikin Manufacturing México seeks a Senior Digital Product Manager to lead strategy, roadmap, and evolution of Fluid, an enterprise PPM platform used by Daikin Digital, Engineering, and business teams.

About the Role

• Occasional business travel to the United States may be required, approximately two to three times per year.

Daikin is looking for a Senior Digital Product Manager to lead the strategy, roadmap, and continuous evolution of Fluid, an enterprise project and portfolio management platform used across Daikin Digital, Engineering, and other business teams.

In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, technical teams, and external vendors to understand business needs, prioritize product enhancements, drive adoption, and ensure the platform continues to deliver value to the organization.

This is a product management role focused on product strategy, stakeholder alignment, and roadmap execution rather than hands-on software development or direct project management.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and continuously improve the product vision, strategy, and roadmap based on business priorities and organizational objectives.
• Gather and translate stakeholder needs into clear product requirements, enhancements, and new functional capabilities.
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog, balancing business value, user needs, technical feasibility, resources, and budget.
• Collaborate with project managers, business teams, and technical stakeholders to identify challenges and opportunities for product improvement.
• Coordinate with external vendors and technical teams to ensure requirements are understood, prioritized, and implemented effectively.
• Drive platform adoption, user engagement, and consistent usage across Daikin teams.
• Support the evolution of project portfolio management capabilities, including resource planning, capacity management, financial management, forecasting, and benefit realization.
• Contribute to the integration of Fluid with Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO) and other relevant enterprise tools.
• Monitor product performance, identify improvement opportunities, and communicate roadmap progress, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership.
• Apply Agile and Scrum principles to support product development, prioritization, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in digital product management, ideally within enterprise software, SaaS platforms, or business applications.
• Experience defining product roadmaps, gathering requirements, managing backlogs, and prioritizing features based on business value.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across business and technical teams.
• Experience coordinating external vendors, implementation partners, or technical delivery teams.
• Understanding of budget management, resource planning, project prioritization, and business processes.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Scrum, and sprint-based product development.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Professional English proficiency for collaboration with international stakeholders and senior leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with project portfolio management (PPM) or strategic portfolio management (SPM) platforms.
• Familiarity with enterprise tools such as Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO) or similar project and work management solutions.
• Experience with resource and capacity management, financial planning, forecasting, or portfolio governance.
• Experience driving platform adoption, product enhancements, and enterprise-wide process improvements.

Direct experience with Fluid is not required. Candidates with strong product management experience and a proven ability to manage enterprise platforms, stakeholders, and vendor relationships are encouraged to apply.
