Job summary

Helpware Inc in Mexico City is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to architect and maintain the high-security infrastructure for an enterprise-grade Agent Development Platform. You will build secure sandbox environments, enforce zero-trust connectivity, and manage data stores powering agent reasoning.

This role leads AWS production setup, Firecracker MicroVMs, and IaC, with emphasis on security, scalability, and compliant operations. Strong automation and scripting skills are required.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, and container security.
• Experience with Firecracker MicroVMs is highly desirable.
• Hands-on with Vector Databases (Chroma, PGVector) and Graph Databases (Neo4j).
• Zero-trust architecture and secure design for AI systems.
• Experience with event-driven architectures and streaming platforms.
• Advanced scripting in Python/Bash and CI/CD automation.
• Temporal for managing long-running workflows.

Responsibilities

• Agent Sandboxing & Isolation: Implement and manage Firecracker MicroVMs or restricted environments for secure runtimes.
• Secure Data Infrastructure: Provision and optimize PostgreSQL, ChromaDB/PGVector, and Neo4j.
• Event Orchestration: Build and manage AWS SQS, EventBridge, or Kafka for agent communication.
• Infrastructure as Code: Automate provisioning of AWS and Kubernetes clusters.
• Security & Identity Integration: Implement WorkOS/IDP for B2B identity management and multi-tenancy.
• Network Hardening: Enforce strict egress controls and proxy-only outbound routing.
