Jobgether is seeking a Senior Database Administrator (DBA) based in Mexico to own the reliability, performance, and scalability of critical production database systems. You will work with PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB in a fast-growing payments infrastructure, combining hands-on administration with architecture, disaster recovery, deployment, and performance optimization.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional experience in senior database roles.
• Hands-on production experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
• Experience with backup, replication, high-availability, and disaster recovery.

Responsabilidades

• Own performance, availability, reliability, and scalability of production DB environments.
• Design, implement, and maintain backup, replication, HA, and DR strategies.
• Plan deployments, migrations, and schema changes with minimal downtime.
• Provide after-hours/on-call support for critical deployments and incidents.
• Monitor health, identify bottlenecks, and implement proactive fixes.
• Collaborate with Engineering to design scalable data architectures.
• Establish best practices for security, access control, governance.
• Document architecture, recovery processes, and operational standards.
• Mentor engineers and share best practices.
• Work across a distributed, multi-time-zone team.
