Crowe México is seeking a Senior Databricks Security Engineer & AI Automation to secure Databricks Lakehouse environments, protect data analytics and AI workloads, and automate security workflows using Python. You will implement identity and access controls, monitor security events, and collaborate with data engineering and cloud infrastructure teams to strengthen the platform's security posture.

Qualificações

• 5+ years in cloud security or security engineering.
• 2+ years of hands-on Databricks experience in production.
• Expert knowledge of Databricks security features: Unity Catalog, access control, admin, policies, secrets, audit logging, encryption with CMK.
• Experience with Databricks identity integration (SSO, SCIM, service principals, OAuth) and REST API/SDK.
• Strong Python scripting for integrations, data pipelines, automation; Terraform/IaC experience.
• Cloud networking and security on Azure/AWS: private connectivity, segmentation, storage security, KMS, IAM.
• Experience securing data in regulated financial services (GLBA, PCI-DSS, SOX).
• Experience building AI/LLM-driven security workflows.

The ideal candidate combines expertise in cloud data security, access controls, security monitoring, and automation, with the ability to leverage Python and AI-driven tools to streamline security operations and improve platform protection.Key ResponsabilitiesDesign, implement, and maintain security controls for Databricks Lakehouse environments.Protect sensitive data, analytics workloads, and AI environments trough access controls, secure configurations, and continuous monitoring.Implement security best practices for identities, permissions, secrets, data access, and workload configurations.Monitor security events, identify misconfigurations, investigate vulnerabilities, and support remediation efforts.Develop Python scripts, API integrations, and automation workflows to improve security monitoring and automate repetitive activities, and improve operational efficiency.Collaborate with data engineering, cloud infrastructure, and security teams to maintain compliance and strengthen the platform´s security posture.Requiered qualifications5+ years in cloud security, data security, or security engineering, including 2+ years of deep, hands-on Databricks experience in a production enterprise environment.Expert-level knowledge of Databricks security features: Unity Catalog and fine-grained access control, workspace and account administration, cluster and compute policies, secrets management, audit logging and system tables, and encryption with customer-managed keys.Demonstrated experience with Databricks identity integration (SSO, SCIM, service principals, OAuth) and with the Databricks REST API or SDK for programmatic configuration, auditing, and automation.Strong scripting and automation skills in Python (strongly preferred) for building integrations, data pipelines, and reporting automation, plus Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform preferred).Solid understanding of cloud networking and security on Azure and/or AWS: private connectivity, segmentation, storage security, key management, and IAM.Experience managing data security and access governance in regulated financial services environments (banking regulatory, GLBA, PCI-DSS, SOX) with demonstrated ability to drive remediation accountability.Preferred QualificationsExperience building or integrating AI/LLM-driven workflows for security operations (alert triage, report generation, automated remediation orchestration).Familiarity with prompt engineering, AI orchestration and agent frameworks, MCP, and API-driven automation patterns for security use cases.Databricks certifications (Data Engineer, Machine Learning, or Platform Administrator) and relevant cloud security certifications (Azure Security Engineer, AWS Security Specialty, CCSP) or equivalent demonstrated expertise.Experience securing ML and GenAI workloads, including model registries, model serving endpoints, vector search, and AI gateway controls.What do we expect from you?We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented professional with strong security mindset and the ability to translate complex technical requirements into practical solutions.What do we offer?Attractive and competitive salary, determined based on the candidate's experience and executive skills and benefitsRemote positionJob stability and an excellent corporate work environment.Growth opportunity and career plan continue within a top-tier global firm.If you meet all the requirements, please share your Resume with us in PDF or Word format.Together we will achieve great results!
